The theme of the interview was „Architecture of (good) habitation“ and it was held on December 13th at KIC, Zagreb.

Tomislav Ćurković presented the work of Dva arhitekta at the scientific and technical conference "Sfera 2018: Technology, Materialization and Roof Systems" in Mostar. The conference is of regional character and aims to bring professionals together and offer them an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in different engineering areas. In the lecture titled "The state of things" he spoke in detail about the process of designing the hotel complex Medora Auri in Podgora. More information on the conference can be found on the link.

'Varazdin Residence' project will be exhibited at the Time Space Existence exhibition held during the Biennial of Architecture in Venice. For many years, world-famous architects, photographers and artists approaching these key issues in their individual way have been participating in the exhibition. According to the exhibition theme, our project represents a rich spatial composition made over the time, tracing the personal history of its users as well as the city it is in. The BA Award is a part of the BIG ARCHITECTURE festival, which will be held on April 12, 2018 in Ljubljana. The festival is organized by the Zavod Big (Revija Hiše) and is dedicated to the promotion of quality architecture exclusively from the Southeast European region. It is our pleasure to announce we will be participating in Mostar Days of Oris, to be held 20-22 April. Besides ours, the program has scheduled lectures by Alen Jašarević, Han Tümertekin and SNØHETTA. Over 50 authors and more than 80 projects participated at the third Balkan Architecture Biennale in Belgrade. Our project Holiday Home in Murter Island is among the Grand Prix winners, where we received the third prize in built work category. Our Murter Holiday Home is among the Croatian candidates for the Piranesi Award that is awarded during the Piranski days of architecture in Slovenia. The project selector from Croatia is theorist Maroje Mrduljaš, who selected five local projects to compete for this prestigious architectural prize. Dva arhitekta have been awarded two American Architecture Prizes. The Wine Chateau in Slavonia was awarded within the Agricultural Building category, while the Country estate in Herzegovina won in the Residential Architecture category. Tomislav Curkovic presented the work of Dva arhitekta at the Belgrade Conference for Architects and Designers organized by Weinerberger on 6 May 2017. In the lecture titled 'Another brick (in the) wall', he referred to the importance of brick in energy efficient building and showcased  various modern design features of this historical material with examples from his own practice. The award for best built projects in 2016 organized by the Association of Croatian Architects was held on 12 June in Zagreb, Tunel Gric. Our Murter Holiday Home was awarded the Drago Galic Award for the best achievement in the field of residential architecture last year. Read more about the project on our website.
